Professional Expertise

Dr. Dong Lijun completed an academic visit at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy. She specializes in minimally invasive and transvaginal surgical techniques, with particular expertise in transumbilical single-port laparoscopy (NOTES) and transvaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (V-NOTES). Her clinical practice also focuses on laparoscopic radical surgery for pelvic malignancies, surgical treatment of benign gynecologic tumors, and hysteroscopic procedures. In addition, she has extensive experience in abdominal radical surgery for malignant tumors as well as pelvic floor reconstruction procedures using mesh for conditions such as uterine prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. Dr. Dong has served as principal investigator for seven provincial and municipal research projects and has published more than ten academic papers.
