Gynecologic Tumor Diagnosis and Treatment Center

The Gynecologic Tumor Diagnosis and Treatment Center focuses on the comprehensive treatment and recurrence management of gynecologic tumors such as cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer. Under the MDT framework, the center makes decisions based on the characteristics of gynecologic tumors, which include "multiple treatment pathway options and high requirements for pelvic organ preservation." For cervical cancer, the center selects the most appropriate main pathway between surgery and chemoradiotherapy; for endometrial cancer, postoperative consolidation strategies are determined according to surgical staging and pathological risk; for ovarian cancer, treatment emphasizes coordination between surgery and systemic therapy, with clearly defined review points and follow-up schedules. By explaining these key nodes clearly, patients can better understand what the next steps are and why they are necessary.

In implementing treatment plans, the center emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration and treatment continuity. For patients eligible for surgery, perioperative evaluation and postoperative risk stratification are prioritized; for those requiring systemic therapy, treatment efficacy assessment and management of adverse reactions are emphasized; for patients undergoing pelvic radiotherapy or brachytherapy, organ protection and treatment consistency are further highlighted. Because the position of pelvic organs can change with bladder filling or bowel status, the center combines image guidance and pre-treatment preparation management, optimizing the strategy for each session based on imaging assessment when necessary, ensuring that radiation conforms to the patient's anatomy on that day while minimizing exposure to critical organs such as the bladder, rectum, and small intestine.

During treatment progression and recovery, the center closely monitors pelvic treatment-related reactions, promptly intervening for common issues such as urinary discomfort, bowel reactions, and vaginal mucosa reactions, helping patients complete standard treatment while minimizing the impact on daily life. The center also aims to implement "precision treatment" in every imaging verification, every review adjustment, and every step of execution, providing patients with a more controllable treatment process, a clearer follow-up schedule, and more confident long-term management support.
