Professional Expertise

Has nearly 40 years of clinical, research, and teaching experience in interventional medicine with over 35,000 interventional procedures performed. Specializes in vascular and non-vascular interventional treatment of tumors throughout the body, including liver, lung, kidney, pancreas, breast, colorectal, prostate, esophagus, nasopharynx, uterus, gastroesophageal junction, and head and neck. Experienced in radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation, argon-helium knife ablation, radioactive particle implantation, PVP vertebroplasty, lumenoplasty, interventional treatment of ischemic and hemorrhagic vascular diseases, and neuro-oncology interventions. Pioneered uterine fibroid interventional treatment in China, conducted 25 national gynecologic interventional training courses, and received 28 science and technology awards at various levels.
